A few pieces are built to represent everything a company believes about comfort. This Voltaire Corner Unit was one of those pieces.
Finished in Flaxen Ochre, it became the model chosen to introduce the Voltaire collection to photographers, retailers and partners across the country. It appeared in official photography, travelled as a presentation piece and quietly became the sofa people experienced before deciding whether the collection belonged on their own showroom floor.
In many ways, it became the face of Voltaire. As the collection evolved, the model was carefully retained rather than returned to general stock. There was a simple reason. When the time came to choose a sofa for his own home, John Sankey’s CEO selected this very model.
Not another configuration. This one. Because after living with every collection the company has produced, this was the piece he wanted to come home to.
