Selected fully seasoned birch and other hardwoods. Expertly assembled, joints doweled, glued and screwed with corner blocks for extra rigidity.

Fabric Details

Body: Velvet Peacock – Rich teal blue-green with a deep, saturated tone. Woven upholstery fabric with a short, dense cut pile (velvet or velour appearance) Composition: 100% Polyester
Bolster: Enchanted Forest – A woven jacquard upholstery fabric from the Turkish mills, this fabric offers a multicoloured woodland/forest scene – Composition: 75% Cotton / 25% Polyester

Heritage

Created as a workshop fabric study, this Harper explored the relationship between contrasting upholstery textures on one of John Sankey’s most recognisable chair designs. Retained following completion of the study, it now leaves the archive for the first time.
