Everything about Rubens is voluptuous, soft and tactile; from the classic lines of the camel-back top rail to the sumptuous Oxford-edged pillows. For added luxury and comfort, the Rubens has a sprung seat and back and luxurious feather and foam seat interiors. Each hand-crafted frame is made from sustainable hardwoods and double or triple dowelled, glued and screwed, with corner blocks for extra rigidity. Our robust construction ensures that our frames will last a lifetime. To help with access, all legs are removable; reducing height to approximately 74cm.

Frame

Selected fully seasoned beech and other hardwoods, from managed sources. Hand crafted with joints either triple or double dowelled, glued and screwed with extra corner blocks for rigidity.

Seat

Fully upholstered on tempered steel serpentine spring unit.

Back

Fixed upholstered with soft foam pad over a tempered steel super-loop spring unit. The Large sofa comes with four x 60cm square pillows and the Grand and King sizes each have five x 60cm square pillows.

Interiors

Seat cushion is supportive foam wrapped with feathers. Back pillows are feather.
