The Birkin Sofa takes inspiration from iconic 1960’s style. The appliqué detail reveals the layer of fabric behind, which can be contrasting if desired, and each panel is neatly intersected with a smart, square button. The Birkin’s seat cushions have pocket springs embedded in layers of foam and wrapped in feathers to create a soft but supportive sit. Each hand-crafted frame is made from sustainable hardwoods and double or triple dowelled, glued and screwed, with corner blocks for extra rigidity. Our robust construction ensures that our frames will last a lifetime.

Selected fully seasoned beech and other hardwoods, from managed sources. Hand crafted with joints either triple or double dowelled, glued and screwed with extra corner blocks for extra rigidity.

Fully upholstered on a tempered steel serpentine spring unit.

Fixed upholstered back with foam pad on a tempered steel superloop spring unit.

Interiors

Seat: Pocket Sprung unit surrounded by foam and encased in feathers.

Legs

Hand polished solid beech legs.
